Vipul Misra appointed acting CEO of SriLankan Airlines

SriLankan Airlines has appointed Vipul Misra as its Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective 9 September 2026. Misra brings more than two decades of aircraft engineering and aviation leadership experience, having worked with Air India, Vistara, IndiGo, SpiceJet, Kingfisher Airlines and Air Deccan. He will oversee technical and operational direction during the interim period.
