UAE: Sharjah Airport welcomes over 17.1 million passengers in 2024

Sharjah Airport recorded a significant growth in 2024 with 17,101,725 passengers, an 11.4 per cent increase from 2023. The number of flights rose to 107,760, and cargo volumes saw a 38.6 per cent growth. The airport expanded its network with seven new destinations and welcomed six new airlines, enhancing its role as a global transport hub.
